Time to type out a post. What to say..
It's holiday time again. Although my art history lecturer affirmed it as being a 'mid-semester break' cos they don't really have holidays.... and he is pretty much right. I expect most of us have assignments and tests and stuff to study for during the break.
As far as I remember, this break has been looked forward to by me the most of all. I've been really stressed and my mind's really fuzzed up. I've been aching for a day just to take my mind off things. It's been a really hard first-half of semester in many many ways.
Had Criminal Law test on Thursday evening. It wasn't that I hadn't prepared enough for it. It wasn't that I didn't understand the concepts. It's not that I misunderstood the question. It's not that I wasn't in the mood to do a test. But my mind had really just had enough of everything at that point. I couldn't focus at all and it felt like there was a space of extreme low pressure around my head. Ah well. Thanks to Grace for the ride home.
Far out.
Things to do these holidays:
- Swim. Swim heaps.
- Watch movies.
- Paint. I have 4 ideas lined up.
- Study for Art History. Take notes for Public Law. Research for Art History and Geography.
- Buy new violin strings. Change violin bridge.
- Sleep.
- Practice violin. Time to seriously prepare for that scholarship.
- Get contacts?
Am I gonna get all that stuff done? No.
My mobile phone's broken. The ear-speaker thingy doesn't work. So I've had to resort to switching to speakerphone when talking on the phone to people. Got rather a surprise doing that cos it's quite loud... Anyway, I'll probably have to buy a new phone. Will do that on Sunday. I've decided against going all-out and buying a super-fancy one. It's either an $80 or a $180 one. At the moment it looks like the $180 one...
aaaargh, I just wanna clear my head of thoughts at the moment.
The institution is different. The environment is different. The education is different. But some of the people stay the same:
- Wet toilet paper balls thrown on the walls.
- An example of bathroom graffiti (as taken from Kate Edger Centre): 'Tap your foot for a blow job', 'oh fuck yeah!', 'cum in my man pussy' [image of penis, testicles, and cum]. -_-
ok, enough for now. Tried to load an image, but don't think it worked..
Night people. Take care all of you.
